Alaska Native designers feature their collections at the 2025 Far North Fashion Show in Anchorage, Alaska, drawing their inspiration from their Indigenous cultures through the theme “The Water Collection”. Designers Jackie Qataliña Schaeffer (Iñupiaq), Mary Kelsay (Unangax), Merna Lomack Wharton (Yup’ik), and Jeremiah James (Tlingit), highlight their designs, while fashion show coordinator Trina Landlord (Yup’ik) shares insight about the theme.
